Nova Launcher on Note

So I pre-ordered the Note 3. I've never owned a Samsung Android phone...always Motorola. I did have a Samsung Delve and hated it. Lol. Anyway, I really need the removable battery. So after much debate between the Droid Maxx (VERY nice, got one for the wife) and Note 3, the Note 3 wins. I like a lot of the features on it. However, I usually install Nova Launcher on all my phones. If I install it on a Note, does that affect some of the features (like S-pen)?

The only differences I see using Nova is page buddy doesn't work and it doesn't show the message in the notification bar that the s pen has been detached.

Neither of those things are needed though.

Use Nova on mine. Love it. Btw there is a page buddy app in the play store. I don't use it. Don't miss it.

There is an app you can download that will notify you when s pen is removed

It also allows you to launch a specific app when the s pen is detached, lock the screen with the s pen is inserted, make sounds, etc.
