Nova Launcher Prime is $0.25! Did that sway you to install?

I've been reluctant to install a 3rd party launcher on my Nexus 7. I've been happy with the stock Jelly Bean experience. I do realize that 3rd party launchers will allow auto-rotate to occur when your on the home screen, but I still wanted the pure Jelly Bean.

Well, guess what?! Right now Nova Launcher Prime is 25 cents! I immediately downloaded and installed! No hesitation! I figure for 25 cents I could call it an "extended trial period" and uninstall it later if I'm truly unhappy with it.

what does it do besides enable landscape on your home screen?

Gives you more customization options amongst other things, change the number of homescreens/docks/dock icons, lets you hide stuff in the app drawer that you don't use, loads of stuff really.

It's very close to stock which is what I like about it. I had been using the free version but bought Prime today.

I have it on mine...I love it, it also has gestures settings feature that makes accessing certain functions easier and faster. I was reluctant also, the tablet is just fine the way it is...But Nova just let's you add some style and function that just enhance what is already awesome...:D

I still prefer the Apex launcher. Launchers are just eye candy and more customization on home screen dock.

Apex give some more free stuffs than Nova free and i am happy with Apex i guess.

btw, Apex will let you customize the folder as well but i guess its not possible in Nova.

There are sooo many options in Nova.. Screenshot is just a preview.

And I've used Apex for months, and loved it, but switched to Nova premium last week and it was well worth it. For 25 cents its a steal and everyone ought to give it a shot, IMO :)

Every time I've used a launcher on hardware with GB, I've had tons of issues (namely Go). I don't feel that my JB device needs another launcher and I don't want to screw up my N7. :) ie, I'm leaving well enough ALONE!

Absolutely agree! I would switch back and forth between Nova and the stock launcher but I'm not spending all my time re-setting up my screens again... :-[

After seeing your post I dove in. Thanks for the info. Nova is working out great on my Nexus 7. Thanks again.

I just downloaded this, but I love the vanilla android just the way it is.
My home screens are perfect.
Is it possible for me to not change a thing and just add landscape mode?

Ultimate Rotation Control app maybe?

I haven't used Nova in a while. Bought it for the low low price of $0.25, and it is a lot smoother than I remember. Definitely going to give it an extended try.

+1 on that...

Who could pass up some of these apps for a quarter? Even if you don't use it today there maybe a reason for it later down the road...

Yes, Im aware, but I was asking specifically about this app.

Don't you want to rotate your Nexus 7's screen...? That's what that app will do for u. If you want a review of it I can't tell u that cuz i use and love Nova Launcher.

I also bought Nova for a measly $0.25, even though I'm not sure I want to use it. My main question is this:

If I install it, can I later revert to the stock launcher with all my home screens, widgets and settings intact, just as they were prior to using Nova?

You sure can. Nova is a separate app with a separate homescreen setup.
