Nova launcher question

I use Nova Launcher and have custom icons that I like. The only one I can't change is the App button. It let's me select Edit and pick another icon to replace the 6 gray dot icon, but then it never actually replaces it. I didn't have trouble last time I used nova. I'll play around with it again today.

It's a Nova bug. I had it on my old Galaxy Note 4 as well.

Do you think uninstall and install of Nova would work?

I remove the icon completely, then add it back. Then you can change it.

I did that and it still won't change. Perhaps I should uninstall and reinstall Nova. It is the updated version so I know it doesn't need an update. All the others change without issue

I've had this problem with Nova on and off for well over a year.

Ok. I'm not that concern3d just a quirk lol. Using the Stealth icon pack.

The new Nova update gives you the option to access the app drawer with a swipe up vs an app button on the dock, which I prefer, that way I have an extra slot available for another app.
