Nova launcher type gestures

I really like the swipe up or down Nova Launcher gestures for quicky launching specific apps.

Can I add the Nova Launcher or does the pixel launcher have this feature?

Launcher are installable thru the app store.

I don´t think it has the swipe gestures to launch apps

I have been using Swiftly switch pro, which can be configured to act much like the apps edge panel on the Galaxy S7, only much more powerful. Haven't received my pixel yet, but I think the combination of the Swiftly Switch app, along with the notification pull down feature on the fingerprint sensor might just allow me to give up Nova .... for now at least.
