It's in the app drawer settings.I'm going to try Nova again, but this stime use default icons and see if using themed icons cause the delay. I doubt that is the issue myself, but will see.
Also, I thought I read somewhere that Nova has a recents task bar, not the same as stock taskbar. Where is that, I cant find it in settings.

I don't have the Fold4 but I think using "Good Lock" & "Home Up" will give you the option to have a vertical scroll for your app drawer. To change to verbal scroll on my S22U, I open Good Lock -> Home up -> Home Screen -> App ListSo far I’m still on stock but the app drawer horizontal scroll is killing me.

Good Lock is an app you download from Samsung App Store. If I remember correctly, Good Lock, Home Up, Theme Park, Pentastik, etc are all separate apps you download from the Galaxy App Store. But again, I'm not certain it's available for download with the F4.Unfortunately, doesn’t exist on the Fold4.

I believe the screen shot he posted is from his settings menu. My Home Screen in settings looks like the first screenshot. The screenshot from the Good Lock app should look like the second screen shot. That's exactly what he's showing you in his screenshot, and I can confirm that the option to vertically scroll does not exist in GoodLock > Home Up... score another one for Nova, lol.
So, you were correct that it's not available in the Fold 4.
That wasn't recent searched it's a recently used apps. It puts theost recently used apps to the top of the drawerRrcents taskbar isn't in Nova, whar bkeaver showed is the recents SEARCH bar you can add to the app drawer.
What you're looking for is in GoodLock > Navstar > scroll to the bottom > Show Task Stack.

Probably what would help more than the pic is what setting gets that and what version you are running because I don't see a setting that will put that on a home screen. I am running 8.0.3Ok, I think Tapatalk will let me upload a photo to show the recents taskbar to which I'm referring.

Ok sorry misunderstood which you were referring to. ThanksIt's not in Nova, it's in Good Lock > Navstar > scroll to the bottom > Show Task Stack, as I mentioned previously.
I can't find the version number, but I've had it for quite some time.
And now even Tapatalk won't let me upload the screenshot.
You have to use buttons for navigation for the taskbar you are referencing. If you use gestures for the navigation bar that option is not available.Rrcents taskbar isn't in Nova, whar bkeaver showed is the recents SEARCH bar you can add to the app drawer.
