Novel HTC One Wifi Connectivity Problem

Hello All,

I've now gone through 3 HTC ones, and they have all had the following issue. I have tried searching for an answer to my question but have not found anyone with quite the same problem.

Essentially, I'll turn on my wifi, it will connect to a network and work fine for a few minutes. But very shortly thereafter data will slow to a crawl and even stop altogether. I have to disconnect and reconnect from the wifi network to fix this problem. The phone always shows that it's on wifi, but the actual data just stops moving.

I have at least 4 other wireless devices that stay connected to the network with no issues.
I have downloaded wifi fixer to no avail.
I have master reset my phone.
This occurs in both rooted and non rooted states, on multiple networks

This is driving me crazy, on a phone that otherwise is a magnificent piece of hardware. Please help.

What kind of router?

What other customizations or network related software have you installed? Have you tried doing a factory reset and running it that way for a day or two to see if that has any impact?
