You mean an article? If so, it's probably because they don't feel there's enought solid info to confirm it. And they may not have too much faith in that date.
ha. Some would need to be put on suicide watch if this were to turn into a Bionic-esque fiasco.

This is another thread that should include rumor in the title. Droid-life's so called sources have been off so many times with the nexus it is laughable. Until verizon announces something I am not going to put any faith into these so called "sources"

Because you know "it's what they heard" and they have to wait and let the rumors spread first and then post it on their site.
my *source*, that is, the little black bird, told me that it will be released on 12/32/2011. That's right folks, 12/32/2011 That isn't a typo. I have a lot of faith in this little black bird.
Let me first say that I have absolutely no knowledge about the strategy behind releasing cell-phones, don't follow rumors, or anyone on Twitter. I just find it hard to believe that this phone will come out within the next 48-hours. That's just based on a gut feeling, or a build up of gas from some baked beans and mac-n-cheese.
I have to admit that for the first time [ever] I actually come to this forum every day to check out the latest rumor, gossip, tea leave readings, etc, on when this phone will come out. Hopefully it's not a huge let down when I actually get it like the Thunderbolt was. Now that phone is nothing more than a paper weight inside some drawer.

Sweet. This phone is so amazing that it needs its own day for release. They don't call it the #mostinterestingdeviceintheworld for nothing.

No if you had seen these forums during the almost three month wait for the Thunderbolt you would know many probably needed to be put on watch. We have had a month since the announcement for this phone but the Thunderbolt was announced almost 3 months before with tv ads running at the wrong time that said February only to be pulled later and changed to "coming soon",fake best buy pre-orders that happened more than once and it was in ads more than once months ahead of a release so nothing will ever compare IMHO! The damn coming soon email page which people analyzed looking for clues in the clouds and the shade of them to see if a change would announce the impending release! I am starting to twitch thinking about it lol so I can wait a little bit longer before going crazy about this phone lol!
You guys...I hate to say this....but it might finally be time to #occupyverizon. FIGHT THE POWER!!!!
