November Security Update (Also Saturation/Nav Bar Fade Update)

So I did buy the Verizon version from Best Buy on put on T-MOBILE. Do I need to take out the Sim card to get the update.

so my beta release only had an option to enable vivid colors ,no profiles like earlier screen shots...am I missing something

The beta version doesn't have the update. We won't get an update on beta until December.

You'll get the update eventually, I bought my phone from Best Buy, took out my Cricket Sim, put the Verizon sim in unactivated that came with the phone and checked for the update downloaded it and installed, then reinstalled my Cricket SIM.
I would recommend waiting but I'm impatient

My wife and I both have Unlocked black pixel 2s. She got hers yesterday and I have yet to get mine. *shrug* she ordered hers 4 days before me lol. We're on Tmo

I have a new Pixel 2 (Verizon) and I have it restored but when I manually check for updates, nothing shows up. Is there a delay? I thought November 5th would've downloaded by now.

It can take up to a week to get the update.

Yeah beta builds are only updated when the next part of the beta goes live. They don't purposely update them separately from the live version just for security updates.

that's what I mean..the color profile that was released is different than the developers release..I don't have a profile option in my build

The beta is 8.1. The current stable release is 8.0 and it has just been security patched to November.

My Pixel 2 security patch is still September. Still waiting for Nov update. Not that I am complaining because this phone has been flawless.
