November security update stalls on Pixel2 XL

[Android Central Question]

Anyone else having trouble? I got hung up on "optimizing apps". I opened a chat with Google and they said do a factory reset. Just went through the whole process and still having the same issue.

update: it took awhile but finally finished updating.

It took a long time, perhaps 15 minutes, on my Pixel 2 but it finished.
