I don't know what's going on with my p10p. My now playing isn't "finding" every song. The frustrating part is I've been testing my p9p against it until it's ready to be sent in for trade. The p9p gets every song that's playing. Even when I open Shazam on the p10p it recognizes it.

Most recent example was during an episode of Wednesday, there was a dance scene with a song I never heard. P10p showed no song found. Opened Shazam and it found it right away. P9p showed the song on the now playing screen. It was Lady Gaga - The Dead Dance for the record.

Anyone else having now playing issues on their p10?

So, when you say it's missing songs you mean it fails to identify the song playing when asked to listen, correct? At first I thought you were saying that it wasn't playing some songs even though they were in your library.

Anyway.

When I asked Google this question it said this,

There have been widely reported issues with the Now Playing feature on Pixel phones, including the latest models, after certain software updates. While Google has reportedly rolled out fixes in recent updates, some users still experience problems.

Have you looked at the Pixel boards to see if anyone else is asking or reporting this issue? I doubt it is the software, unless it's a bad app preventing or hindering the music from being heard by taking control of the mic. I was also curious if you had taken the case off to see if it was a muffled sound thing, or turned up the volume to see if it was a sound level thing?

You can go to settings>apps>Now playing>clear it's storage and force stop it and see how it goes from there.
