So when you do the math what is the better deal?

Preorder was a better deal, of course. Just wish we had a double storage and good trade-in values at the same time.

My math shows you can get the 512 for $20 cheaper then preorder if you were trading in a $900 trade in at preorder. The 1TB buyers are $120 cheaper now with same trade in rates at preorder. I myself was centered on out the door cost more then storage..I have around 150 gigs on my phones now, so I was looking for cheapest out the door, but I wouldn't have minded 512 at 256 pricing.

I don't remember a time they had a better deal after pre-order this soon after.

I will never include PayPal promo as not everyone gets that, you have to use special third party deals to get it. Not everyone got the $80 for accessories, if you ordered right away it was $30.

I am going strictly what you get if you order from Samsung with what they offer everyone, student discounts, teacher discounts and such I don't include as not everyone gets them. Right now you can get the 512 for $579 versus the $599 at preorder. You still get the $30 accessories credit.

Reality was that I used only about 220 out of 512 on the S25U but that was because I had a lot of junk files and Flac music files so after deleting some of the junk 256 is adequate
I tried to do the math but after all my discountdis.nd I forgot they gave me 10% back from 2 x 25 Ultras back on Black Friday cause I thought the price changed for my friend and I was going to return and start over. It's too much of a hassle and I was wrong about the price. But I did call Samsung earlier to talk about this and he said I am not allowed anymore promotions LOL! I got an extra $80 plus a 30 promo code. So yeah I'll stick to what I got 490 trade-in over 800. I'm not even done setting this up so I don't want to start over.
