Now that I've got Google assistant???

I know the basic functions. But how do I get it to play a song in my music library? When I ask for a particular song, it automatically goes to TuneIn Radio. When I was more specific and asked for a particular song in my playlist, it went to Google play music. I've got my library on my SD card and I'm using onkyo music player.

I'm pretty sure there is a way to set default radio/music player when interacting with the assistant. I know there is a way to do this with the Google home app.

I just tried it. I told it to play a certain artist on power amp and it played.

i've looked all over, and it looks like the only reason i have this in my settings is because i have Google Home.

Try telling it which music player to open

I have it on a UK unlocked model. Phone language set to English (US).

That's what I had to do. I had to say what playlist, artist, or song and the player.

I think that's the way it's supposed to be....not sure if you set it to default to a specific player

I disabled Google Music, so now it automatically uses Power Amp...
