Now that Moto has released the Froyo Source Code

I saw it on Twitter but haven't had the chance to look into it too much but supposedly, Moto released the source code for the Droid X version of Froyo. I know this is a good thing as the people who are most excited about this are the people who have been bringing us hacks and rom's. So what is in the source code and what will it mean to us?

I believe that all it's going to mean is that ROMs may be more stable now that they have the source files to work with.

This won't have anything to do with the bootloader so those rumors can just be squashed right meow.
