O.k, my g2 is running 4.4.2 and chrome shows using 43 mb. Running on app screen in settings. I have a samsung gal. Tab 3, running 4.2.2 with 1.7 ghz pros, chrome, same version.the app screen shows it running on 81.5 mb. Better coding and comp cannot make all that much difference, do Does it? Show me ignorant in freezing ky. Please explain.

Probably has to do with a different amount of data that has accumulated in the various databases that each app uses. You can compare the two by going to Settings>Apps>All, selecting Chrome on both devices, and comparing how much Data each of them reports.
