Nvidia to stop supporting Harmony

Hey all,
I am new to androids and new to this site, although I read a lot of posts. My wife has a Nook, and I was going to get one of these G Tabs. Now with this post about Nvidia not supporting the Harmony platform past Gingerbread, I am trying to decide if getting one of these is a good idea. I have my wife's Nook running the Honycomb preview, and so that is what I am used to. What are your thoughts pro or con?

Nvidia has already came out and said that it will continue developing stuff until the manufacture does not. Apparently, they were talking about the harmony reference board not the devices themselves.
