just got the email from Best buy saying my orange pixel xl is officially delayed. They'll keep trying to fulfill my order until November 23! that's not good news. I ordered another one at a store that the website confirmed had it in stock. We shall see. it's an hour drive away, but better than waiting until Thanksgiving.

My luck is pretty bad in terms of pixel 4 ... i had an in store pick up today but was getting the ready for pick up email. I dropped at Best Buy and apparently they haven’t received any shipments as of yet from the warehouse. So looks like going to be waiting again

Yeah it’s been really weird for me this time. After i cancelled my Google store launch pre order it’s been downhill. The wait is hard but hopefully between Amazon, google store or Best Buy one of them will come through soon.

I found the white 4 XL 64 GB in stock at my local best buy so going with that. Would have preferred 128 GB but 64 GB will be manageable.

After calling back the AT&T store that said they had it in stock and for sale starting tomorrow, it's only the 64gb XL version in Just Black. I called like 12+ stores in the NYC metro area looking for 128gb XL's and no-one had them, so I just ordered it from the AT&T website instead. Just an FYI. I figured if their biggest market isn't getting 128 GB's in stock just yet, nobody is.

Yeah just picked up and setting it up. 64 GB is fine since most is my stuff is in the cloud but i would gladly pick up 128 GB if it was available. I pulled the trigger since it was white 64 GB. I thought atleast the color is better than the 128 GB black that earlier reserved at Best Buy.

Moreover i just wanted to get over this fast

But i have another problem and I’m not able to cancel my Amazon order since they shipped the gift card. Only way is to return after receiving it. But I’m going to call them again tomorrow and escalate since that’s ridiculous.

Yeah lots of people do have similar issue cancelling their orders on Amazon because they already shipped the gift card and it's not letting to cancel the phone. If you call and complain they are giving additional gift cards and one guy mentioned he got a 20% discount on the order when it'll ship. There was a Reddit thread about this.

Anyway I'll call them tomorrow and try to cancel. And see what they will do.

Yeah I have no problem with that, it's just the hassle of having the order hanging around until they ship and then we have to return back. Just unnecessary in my opinion and one more thing to track and manage.

I think I might go with the 64gb clearly white. Woke up this morning thinking about the phone non-stop...

There's 2 left in a Best buy location.

If you want to go with the 64 GB white then you might want to reserve it immediately since it most likely won't be there till evening. All the 64 GB white ones near my location sold out by end of day yesterday, I'm in Seattle area so it sells out pretty fast here. Not sure where you are but depending the location it may sell out fast, so if I were you I would buy online for store pick up. If you change your mind you can always cancel but at least you have it reserved. They will keep it for 5 days even if you want more than today to decide.

I'm justifying the 64gb by telling myself I saved $100.
