I think I heard that the N20U had esim support... but maybe esim capable and not enabled until now? I don't use an esim so didnt care but I guess this means you can dual sim this phone?

My phone, in the "About Phone" section, now shows an eSim with a number, where I don't believe it did before the Update! (I could be wrong, but I don't ever remember noticing it before) - AT&T Locked!

My unlocked N20U 5G (on VZW) does not even show a second item, so I think you are correct that is new!

I have this eSIM and second number too but don't see what I can do with it. Still only shows SIM1 on the SIM settings page with no option to do anything different due to the eSIM.

How do I know if this n20u is unlocked or locked brought 2nd hand x

Open device settings>about phone>model number. The unlocked model is SM-N986U1.
