Odin Fails, screen stuck, and no cwm

I had Froyo Deodexed Eb01, not even superclean and the only kernel I ever tried to install was the Voodoo (the newest one and only one listed under froyo in their site)

wait are you using deodexed EBo1 with odin?

Yeah and I also tried DI06.

You cant use my packages for trying to fix problems like that because it doesnt include all the files, my packages only flash certain partitions

you need either the DI01 release or EB01 release packages

I left my house I will try it when I get home. I will keep you guys updated. I have a feeling this wont be permanent because it is just a filesystem difference.

I was thinking...what would happen if I plugged this thing into a linux computer that can read the voodoo filesystem {ext4}

i dont see how that would make a difference but you can always try it

Flash red clockworkmod
Wipe data,
Wipe cache,
Wipe battery stats,
Go into advanced and wipe dalvik cache
Turn voodoo off. Make sure the two lines say "no"
Flash stock DI01 package, and it should work. I had the same thing happen to me. My phone was bricked for 5 hours before I got it running again. Freaking voodoo screwed me over.

I can't even get into that red menu anymore. Even if I hold the volume buttons down. When I try to flash clockworkmod it fails halfway in odin.

which version of cwm are you trying to flash?

is this from a desktop or laptop, where do you plug the usb cable into, and are you using the stock usb cable that came with the phone?

Guys, let DroidXcon keep working with these two if they come back. They really messed up their phones flashing software for the i9000 Fascinate, the international version. The first one we ever saw of these took Adrynalyne 3 or 4 hours of working with him before it was fixed. Adrynalyne shared the steps with DroidXcon, so he knows what he's doing here. They can't even get into cwm, and flashing cwm won't help. They have screwed up their partitioning and that has to be repaired first before worrying about anything else.

It's from a desktop and a stock cable. And as for CWM, the file just says CWMRecovery.tar

Have you followed these instructions exactly? I just skimmed the thread.

If Folks Are Having Trouble Removing CM7 Alpha, Try This - xda-developers

If you're out of ideas I'd get on IRC and ask Adrynalyne very nicely for guidance...it gets busy in that chat room don't get discouraged

I'll try these steps real quick. Thanks guys! After all is said and done I will really have to do more research before I do things like this and also I will help others with the knowledge i've learned...
