Funny story, as I was seeking advice I kept trying to troubleshoot on my own. I used a higher quality cable and tried a different port on my computer and it worked! So sorry for wasting your time but I appreciate how fast you are to respond!

So even after flashing the new rom it still says it's under TMB under service provider software version. Is this normal? Or can I make that go away too? The reason I was trying to get on unlocked software is because T-Mobile's software has been getting in the way of my wife pairing her Galaxy Watch 4 with her mobile plan

Well although I'm glad that is true, I'm bummed it didn't fix her watch problem. I've already spent probably close to 30 hours with Verizon trying to get her watch connected to her service through her phone and have been unable to. I thought this is what was causing the issue.

Galaxy watch 4, we have a mobile plan but we haven't been able to set it up. I did everything any sensible person would do and then everything they told me to do. Went into a store, sat on the phone for hours with both Verizon and Samsung and they can't get it connected. Pretty stupid. I thought maybe it's because I bought it on TMobile and brought it over to Verizon that was causing the issue

I wish i could help on the watch issue but dont use them often to be of help but your more then welcome to post in the watch 4 forums here to see if other members can help.out .

AP>AP, BL>BL, CP>CP, Home CSC > CSC, no userdata.

My version also shows TMB/TMB, TMB/XAA
Build Number: SP1A.210812.016G998USQU4BUK7 (Android 12, One UI 4)
I have all the tmobile features including RCS, eSIM, etc.

My question is, will I still get OTA updates and will they be the carrier path OTA or the Unlocked path OTA from now on?

No , that is if you want to flash next update through odin so it won't factory reset
