Hello guys. I just want a simple help. By flashing ROM with Odin, will it flash Kernel also?
Or Precisely, will the tar.md5 ROM file contain Kernel Section in it for flashing ?

Also, is Kernel Region Specific ? That is, if i flash with a different country ROM, will i need to flash Kernel with that country or will the Kernel be flashed with that ROM itself?

Let me explain the real situation. My phone has Indian firmware and UAE kernel ( i found that by going into Settings>About phone>Software Info>Kernel and on it, there was "KST"). Knox has been tripped to 0x1. I receive software updates, but my kernel is still KST. Please consult this,

You can flash just the kernel, if you can find the file for it. There may be a possibility that the ROM may reject the kernel.

Why do you need that specific kernel?

No need but i fear that while getting updates for my software, keeping the Kernel outdated is not good right?

True, but the device may not start if the kernel is incorrect.
