Odin3 Mater Clear

So with the last upgrade...to Froyo, someone mention I should do a master clear. So now that I am going BACK to 2.1...I started a master clear. How long should one take? I also yanked the external SD card out while it was doing it...thinking it would do nothing....but never know.

Anyone?

Master Clear doesn't take long at all. You need to do it after you flashed back to stock and with your phone on and running, with USB Debug on.

What does master clear exactly do?

Master Clear reformats your internal SD card, so if you have anything on there you want to save (e.g.,pictures), back it up before you begin.
