I would like to know how to hard reset a Samsung a50 with us cellular service and unlock it to be used with boost by switching sim card?

If the phone locked to cellular service, you'll have to meet their criteria to unlock it and use for other mobile networks.

Us cellular is the current service how do I unlock it or root it the just switch my sim card out of my current phone into the Samsung a50 . They are the same size SIM cards and I can go on boost website and do the self service phone switch but just wanna make sure I'm not wasting my time?

Where did you orginally purchase the phone ?

Oh you bought a locked phone you would need to try one those 3rd party websites that unlock phones , I'm not aware of any because I usually by unlocked phones ready .
