# of messages indicator Samsung Galaxy S5

[AC Question]

Is anyone experiencing trouble with notification of the number of unread messages? Mine has been stuck for a few weeks.
Removing the battery, restarting the phone, clearing messages - nothing has worked. The indicator has been stuck on 45 for weeks now.
Anyone have any idea on how to reset/clear this number?
