This is my second Note (returned the first for a really off center camera lens). This one has it too, but it isn't as bad as the first. Is this something to be worried about, or should I just live with it? It really messes with my tech OCD.

*when I say "off center" I mean the actual lens in the middle of the housing - the housing itself isn't off center - the guy at Best Buy said it was supposed to be that way for OIS, which is BS because my wife's S6 edge doesn't show this same thing.

Just looked at mine and it's off center vertically... since both of yours have been off center maybe that's the way they are supposed to be. Camera works fine and takes great photos so I'm not worried about it, are your photos affected?

Just looked at mine and it seems to be off center too, it's on the low side a touch. I can't believe I didn't notice that before, wonder if most of the Note 5's are like.

Mines off centre too. Bugs me when i look at it but not worried since other notes does it too.

Mine is off-centered...it seems centered horizontally... Vertically, it is a little lower than center...

Yeah, mine is off center just a hair to the right - the first one looked like a serious lazy eye. It doesn't seem to effect anything other than my tech OCD. Seems like it would be a manufacturing defect, though. No logical reason I can see other than that.

I still think the guy at Best Buy was full of malarkey...

Mine is physically off center within the body camera frame also, but takes fantastic pictures which what is designed to do. So there is no issue.

I belive the camera assembly is properly put together including the lens. The alignment maybe off during the installation of camera assembly and the phone housing. I don't think it would affect the camera performance nor PQ. It is just cosmetic.

I'd never have noticed that. Mine is off centered too, but the pics are on point!

Seems that it doesn't cause issues, just makes me curious as to why the lens is off center on what seems like most, if not all, Note 5 phones.

Ok all.....hold the phone with the back side facing towards the ceiling and the display side facing the floor and look directly down at the camera lens and while continuing to look turn the phone slowly in 3/6/9/12 o'clock positions and tell me what you notice in regards to the lens off center.

Vertically off center as well. May just be a form factor thing when assembling the camera sub-assembly. Doesn't matter in the least, the pictures are amazing on this device.

It looks centered as you turn

Darn it! Mine is off slightly to the left toward the heart rate sensor and led! I never noticed and I've had this phone since launch! Well at least the pictures and video are top notch.

And sorry for making everyone's OCD go haywire!

I just wanted to know if I was alone or if this was an issue!
