Ever since I updated to Blackberry6, my battery life has gone down the crapper. Coupled with the sluggishness of the 9650 itself, I've been counting down the days to upgrade in March.

Tour is dying (almost all of my phones die at about 16 months so have to baby for 2 next time will be 4 thanks to new policy) trackball fine unless plugged with dirt but rolling on copy paper has always cleared. Bluetooth radio only works when it wants to 3.5 jack getting loose almost half to tape plug to make good connection. Mike sounding more garbled. Have to wait till mid March for upgrade. Wife's pearl flip keys are not responding all the time so 2 more berry users off to the wonderful land of(an)droid

I am a former BB Curve 8330 user. I was real hesitant to switch to Android since my primary use was business. My main concerns were email and keyboard. Let me me say to all of you that have reservations regarding email, or the lack of a physical keyboard: You will look back as I did, and say "Why the hell did I wait so long to switch"!

Hope this hasn't been asked yet, how can I get all my "notes" from my BB to my Android once I get it? I have 78 of them so emailing each one...one by one.... would be a PAIN. Is there a simpler and more effective way? Thanks.

the physical keyboard was my biggest apprehension, but I have heard from a lot of people that the transition is painless. thanks!:D

Former storm user, loved my bbm but don't miss it one bit. Got tired of a batter pull every few hours due to the lack of ram for apps. Also hated the fact that everytime I downloaded an app or updated one would have to reboot. Android is the best thing since sliced bread(or close to it).

Will most likely never go back to bb.

Added bonus is the forums are great to help mod your device to fit your needs. Thanks

People don't realize there's still apps that allow cross communication from android to BBM? I thought one of like 8 was pulled off market.

Ready and willing to convert here... as much as I do like BBM the only person I talk to through it is the girlfriend. So I can live with losing it because I'm sure there is something just like it out there. Besides we'll both be switching to new phones around the same time so who knows... video chatting would be awesome!

Hello Everyone! It shames me to tell you (my peers) that I am as newbie as it gets.

In 2007 I was hired on with a marketing company, I was given my very first smartphone, a T-Mobile 8100 (Pearl). I kept my personal LG 9800 device semi active.

Fast forward to 2011 and 4 BB's later

I have never owned an Android, I've never spent more than 5 minutes on an Android device.

So yes I am converting from an EnV to a TB. A couple of BB conversion questions...

1# I live off of AutoText. This is one of those simple little things in life I got very addicted to. Is there AutoText in Android? More importantly, is there a way I can TRANSFER my BB AutoText to my TB?

2# I love spell check and I have co-workers who have told me BB has the best spell checker. Is this true?

3# I am on a BES with my company. I would like to have my e-mail go on to my TB. Is this possible and if it is should I bring my company laptop to help the rep with the settings?

4# I love my BB pouch on my belt. I think it's awesome how the phone "hibernates" once in the pouch. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to carry a device this size?

5# Is putting music and videos on an Android like a BB, where you can use it like a flash drive?

Thank you guys for taking the time of your day to help this lost cause. I'm looking forward to joining the new decade. Have a good one.

Im not sure what you mean by autotext. Android has a predictive text (if i start typing do, it will list popular options, dot, dog, etc).

You can use exchange email on your android. Just needs to be set up.

Yes, you can put music and videos on the android and use like a storage device on the computer.

Good, I love having the ability to use my blackberry to install pirated software on the go! ;)

Glad the Droid will let me continue my warez ways! lol.
