I like cm7... the battery life isn't as good as 6.1.2 but I now once the stable release is ready it'll be up to par

Question: On the teamdouche mirror i see cm_supersonic_full-1.zip for nightly that came out 2011-02-19 10:24:57, My last one was build #40, what one is this, #41?

Guys,
When I open Google Maps I don't see GPS icon blinking and it usually says my location is 3-1000 meters accurate is there any fix for this?

The RC1 is incredibly fast. No noticeable changes from latest nightly though.

I feel bad for making the 666th post!

Site went through a maintenance update and nightly numbers were reset.

1. Get MSL Reader from market.

2. Use MSL Reader to get your MSL and write it down.

3. Do a nand backup and flash a Sense ROM.

4. Open phone dialer and dial ##GPSCLRX# and enter your MSL.

5. Nand restore back to CM7.

BTW I dont take credit for this fix. It's posted on XDA and I used it to fix my GPS.

How do you get rid of Voicemail (6) on the notification bar. It keeps popping up after reboot and sometimes when it wants to. I hit the clear and it goes away but it's temporary. How do I get rid of it permanently?

Have you tried deleting the new voicemail messages from your voicemail account?

Ok, let me try to understand. When I rooted phone using unrevoked I made backup using Nand and I think that it made backup of stock sense 2.2, if I restore that that will bring me back to original state before doing root?

Hi All,
I have a very quick and simple question. I'm running CM7 RC1 and it's great. I have switched dialers though and am confused about how to keep the same icon in ADW Launcher.

I see how to change icons, but I when I search for the green phone icon that comes standard with CM7, I can't find it anywhere. thoughts?

Will the GPS tool app that does resetting not work the same way? It was mentioned on like page 2 or 3 of this thread, and worked for me...instructions were pretty easy.

Thanks for sharing. I too read the post at XDA, and the recommended ROM to flash is Fresh. I followed the instructions and true enough, my GPS works!:)

CM7 camera app

I really liked CM7 but unfortunately it was not stable enough on my phone so I'm back to VP3.

However as we all know, the Sense video camera encodes the audio at 8khz, which is crappy. The CM7 camera (AOSP?) app recorded at a much better sampling rate.

Is there a way to get the CM7 camera map out of the zip to install individually?
