Update: It was not just the browser but everything, however, a reboot fixed it for now.

I just installed the update to build #5 from build#3.. Well I think I did but don't see any difference

There won't be much of a difference...you can check under settings> about phone> and mod version should be the 18th

Since you have to wipe data/cache/dalvik to go from 6.1 to 7...you will have to install gapps anyways. And the new gapps gives you the option of what to install so that's cool

Have you updated your pri to 1.77?

How do i get back the voicemail thing that i had when my evo was stock? when I hold 1 to get voicemail im unable to unless i call my cell

You need to go to menu, call settings, voicemail settings and then enter your mobile number in there instead of the *86. That will cure the error you are having when you hold down 1 in the dialer. If you want the visual voicemail application you'll have to install the .apk. file.

Go to an old backup where VVM is working
Get titanium backup (the free version)
Backup VVM
Go to 7-3 and download TB again (saves backups on SD). Restore APP + DATA. Make SURE you restore the Data also. When I first put VVM on it, I got that error. I only restored the App though. I reinstalled with APP + DATA. This should work for you

Is each update build just an upgrade for bug fixes?? Is everyone just updating as each new build gets pushed?? Just want to make sure I am doing this correctly. I have not been wiping data and backing up the rom each time I update

A nightly is a system generated rom, so if the team works on bugs or features, etc. since the last nightly was built then the new updates will be included in the next nightly.

Sometimes you can grab a nightly that boot loops or has a weird language keyboard installed, etc. so it's a good idea to have a somewhat recent nandroid when playing the nightly game.
