I love these nightlys. But build #12 is making my battery life drop like CRAZY. I have it for about 10 hrs. during work and only use it for 1 hour. But when I get out of work its at about 15-20% Any way to fix this? (I turned off GPS, data, and Bluetooth!)

The same settings that gave me horrible life on #12. LOL

Try 13. It is working pretty well for me. 11 hours and at 46% battery. Just now downloading 14 to test out.

Nothing has changed since about nightly #12...

Look at the size of the files, and compare them. Just because a build is pushed every night doesnt mean that there's changes, they are automated builds being pushed from source.

And btw, check otu this awesome kernel

I always do that first. I have reflashed the rom 3 times now and it still doesn't work.

I would try I full wipe.

Is anyone having trouble clearing the davick cache?? Everytime I update to the new Tom I clear regular cache and davick cache but I always get this msg 'can't mount E:/ Dec/block/mcv' so I'm not sure if its actually working properly because after I install the update I always get forcecloses on my launcher. And the only way to fix is if I do a full wipe and that's a hassle

So I installed CM7 #14 yesterday and when I DL'd it i was kinda surprised that it didn't have the Sense UI incorporated into it and to top it off the phone wasn't working I got a call the phone started ringing and no way to answer it. does anyone know y? also I thought 2.3 was coming with the new clock widget and the theme switch?

Its a AOSP ROM, not meant to have sense UI.

I would try I full wipe.

I have done that too. My phone just doesn't like Cyanogen roms much. They always run terrible on my phone.

It has theming support via the 'Theme Chooser' icon in the App Drawer.

As far as answering the phone, were you not presented with a screen with two sliders, the left one having a green phone icon on it? you just touch it and drag to the right.

I don't know anything about a new clock widget so I can't help you there.

I haven't. It's weird because I have no issues with other rom's. Just the Cyanogen ones. Any of them. They are most peoples fall back always great rom. For me they just are awful. No matter what I do. My phone is definitely female and constantly pms'ing. It's the only explination. Lol.

nightly update

For those of us that are following this without plunging in (sorry but I use GPS, camera, and 4g DAILY) how have these releases been holding up? Anyone with 0004 having camera issues? Just like a lot of other guys, I can hardly wait for 2.3 but I need access to everything. :-\ Sprint rumors have optimus s getting first update next month. Of course I gave that phone to my girlfriend that doesn't even know why she needs to switch to wifi at home!
