Yes, dont be scared of the nightlys. Nandroid and flash, they are usually 100% stable and have bonus goodies

I flash every new nightly.

Ok. I flashed RC7 this week. I really like it a lot. But I seem to be having problems with Wireless Tether. For some reason whenever I turn it on, it says that it "starts with Errors".

What do you guys think? If I use the same program on either of my Sense ROMs, it works fine.

Besides the error message, is tethering working for you?

Unfortunately, no. I was looking in the forums n the CM site and have found out that there are many people who are running into the same problem.

I guess it's something to do with the app you get on the market. Something in CM and that application are butting heads, and won't work.

I did find out that there are built-in tether and hotspot features, so I've been using those with no problem.

FWIW..... The newest version of the wireless tether app wouldn't work for me even on a Sense ROM.

However, CM7 does have the built in hotspot function that works great so you don't need a separate app. You can turn the hotspot on/off from your notification bar if you set up the power control widget for it.

This goes out to the Nightly build people....

I dont really want to get wrapped up into having to flash my fone everytime a new nightly build is posted. Perhaps I might get addicted but as of now its too time consuming to search for info.

As I stated earlier Iam running CM7 RC2 at the moment with Zen kern CFS 0.2.1... HDMI working nicely. Battery life is essentially the same as when i was running STOCK HTC sense rom.

I have my SET CPU screen OFF profile set. Having changed since my Stock ROM theres minor things THAT I hope have been fixed in a nightly build somewhere maybe yall can confirm....

4G antenna...it works yet my internet speeds feel SLOWER than 3G at times...sometimes ( weird bug) I cant turn on my 4G antenna so I need to reboot to make it work again. Signal strength seems a bit weaker than Stock...wifi/3G/4G.

Internet browser : has a weird tear when browsing sites and it fixes itself after the site is down loading or after you tap the screen.

Lock-screen: Occasionally I need to tap on the screen after I hit the power button so that I can see the lock-screen

have any of this bugs been fixed or improved if i jumped on nightly 28 for example?? Nightly guys please dont ignore me ;D

Have the Evo GPS issues been fixed since RC2? The Sense "fix" worked for a while but today my phone went back to not being able to acquire a GPS signal again.

Looking at the nightly changes it appears GPS was fixed in Nightly #22: Gerrit Code Review

I'm just wondering if anyone can confirm it has been fixed.

I'll flash the latest nightly when I get a chance, but I'm just curious for those who are running a nightly 22+.

I applied the fix a LONG time ago and I haven't had a problem since so I can neither confirm nor deny...

I guess since no one will answer my concerns....can someone LINK me a solid link where I can see change LOGS from every nightly build available if there is one?? Curious to see what the changes/fixes are moving from one build to the next. Thanks guys.

I played some Angry Birds and Dungeon Hunter just to test things out. It's snifty. I would've busted out my emulators had I not been lazy... I didn't want to go downstairs to get a Wiimote... LOL.

I hope they can figure out how to get audio piped through. that's the only thing missing. It's awesome!

Its even more fun when playing the emulators on tv and watching the facial expressions from the guys at work with an evo (& the ones with other phones with hdmi out) thinking how in the hell did he do that? lol

I flashed nightly #28 today and GPS worked on my way home. It only lost the satellite link once but found it again. I'll continue to test it around town.
