Official FCC Droid Bioinc Specs

Ah I'm sorry, I was under the impression the Droid 3 had a 1 gb of ram. (but will this extra 512 be for the webdock feature like the Atrix?) and the screen is .3" larger at the same resolution, that doesn't necessarily blow my mind away.

Someone posted on one of these threads that the webtip uses internal memory rather than ram. I guess wwe will see how webtop affects it.

I thought the 4.5" screen was found to be false. Also, until it is released we really don't know what the final release version will have. (At least that is what I will keep telling myself.) :'(

The screen seems to be the one thing nobody is sure of but I think it will be 4.3 but guess we need to wait for some more leaks to know.

What do vps and CEOs need with a faster dual core? I'm curious as I don't know what they use their phones for? Isn't dual core mainly for gaming and make the phone smoother? I could be wrong i am just curious.

It's not so much they *need* it but we need a phone that will last the two years. If we get this and it *can't* do something they need it to do even a year and half from now it looks bad on us. Although i believe this phone will be fine for 2 years a 4460 would have sealed the deal more easily, now i have to talk to my boss about waiting untill the Nexus device comes out (that is if it comes to verizon and in November). We will most likely move to this device as we had alot of positive outcomes with the OG Droid and the X so it's either Motoblur or Pure Android as not to dilute support for many OS (we shouldn't of gotten a Charge at all, but the "phone guy" needed a smartphone quick and ordered it and it went into the pool when the user it was going to found his OG Droid)

We will probably move to the phone barring any unseen problems, the 4460 would have made the choice ALOT easier.

Oh OK gotcha. This is one phone I actually see myself sticking with for two years. Moto has good build quality and with it being dual core should last through my contract. Atleast i hope which from the specs it seems that way.

That sounds good. Either way I'm pretty sure this is my next phone and I can't wait till it comes out, been waiting since Jan. to update from my OG Droid. I'm not an Apple guy, and Google HD or Prime or whichever it's being called, may not come to Verizon, even the SGS2 is beautiful, but that unlimited LTE sounds too good to pass up.. So these specs rumored or fact sound good to me, at least for 2 years.

I don't want to downgrade the 4430 at all, it's just we were getting rumors/speculation that the Bionic was going to be 1.2ghz 4460 processor which has more than one advantage over the 4430. Soooo... while the 4430 is and will be a beast, the rumored 4460 leaves us looking down on the 4430 just a little.

No one EVER said it would be clocked at 1.2. We're still looking at a 4460, its just been underclocked at 1 ghz for battery life.

It doesn't affect it at all. When webtop is not in use, it doesn't use any resources.

Actually the beat buy rep who had info about the 28th was told by the vzw rep it waa clocked at 1.2ghz. Also how do you know which processor it has???

I asked multiple times and he hasn't provided a source.

You asked once, and I haven't been on since I posted it so drop the attitude.

That best buy rep also claimed it was a 4440, so they're not exactly a scot-free source. All that we knew (and all that we still know) is that its going to be an OMAP 4 chip clocked at or over 1 ghz. The reason why its the 4460 and not the 4430 is because the GPU is clocked at 384 mhz.

And what's your source for the GPU clock? The FCC?

Calm down everyone. Just wait until the specs are officially released. Lets just continue to hope for a release on the 28th so we can actually have it in our hands.

My bad guys meant 4440. this is what my rep told me i didn't see this first hand. I just left work but I'll try to set up a meeting with her asap.
I need a good excuse though, don't want her to think important using her lol

another post talking about the photos he got from his rep.

I've been really busy with best buy mobile and am trying to confirm final specs of the bionic. My rep insists its a "a lightning fast omap dual core 4440", but im not sure i believe her. She swears this is what was in the employees guide, but im pretty sure she meant a 4460.because she stated it was a "power vr gpu @ 384 mhz" . Whatever that means.
