Official: Galaxy S8 / S8+ Pre-Order Thread

I can't work out what's going on with mine.

Ordered directly from Samsung in the US on April 6th. Said it would be received on the 20th.

As of now, it's still showing 'preorder' as the status, no movement from what it has been for weeks.
Also says it will take 2 days to ship by air. So I'm assuming it's not left yet.
And they've not charged my card.

I also didn't get the speaker.

I have a bad feeling about this.. :(

I wouldn't worry about it, sometimes the tracking just lags. As far as the speaker, that was a free gift that no one was expecting, they could have simply ran out of them.
 
What do you guys think?

Ordered S8+ from Samsung.com on April 16th. The website had said I can get it by April 20th, just like everyone else had seen ever pre-order was available...

I haven't seen a shipping label for it yet. However the cancel order option had disappeared a few hours after I bought it...

So,
What do you think? April 20th? April 21st? May 7th? December 25th? December 25th, 2048?
 
I'm not liking all the pink hue stories I am reading. I hope mine isn't suffering from it.
They had the same thing with the note 7 and it had something to do with the glue on the screen not being fully dried yet. Plus it could just be a software issue that can be fixed with a setting or update. I wouldn't worry about a couple cases out of possibly thousands. Kind of like the note 7 battery issues the only reason it was such a big deal was because of the news coverage. Granted it was on the higher end of statistics, but the likely hood of yours exploding was very low.
 
There will be a lot of folks waiting for her or her local delivery guy today.

Just checked UPS tonight and my S8+ arrives tomorrow! Status changed at 12:11AM.

Ordered from TMo on first day. Wonder if all TMo customers are going to have a good day tomorrow?
 
It will depend on available flight times and if it gets to the hub early enough to be loaded on the truck for delivery. You won't know until you check the status tomorrow to find out for sure. My UPS tracking still shows it's sitting in Kentucky to be shipped to Seattle but I've had this happen before where the status didn't update until after 9pm and I still got the package the next day. I'd be surprised if I do get mine tomorrow but it would be nice. I ordered over the phone from T-Mobile on 3-29.

I feel for you. I ordered mine over the phone on April 1 and mine is in Portland now to be delivered in a few hours. You should have had yours first.
 
I need to stop sending these phones to my work, i am not able to use FedEx ship manager and the samsung website is less than helpful.
 
Seems odd that those who ordered from Samsung.com and were guaranteed an April 20 delivery date haven't had their phones shipped yet, the day before. No fedex label, nothing at all. Considering we all paid extra for 2 day fedex shipping it's a bit sad.

I ordered my own and my wife almost two weeks apart and theyre both expected to deliver today together. It doesn't seem they follow any particular order with shipping and delivery.
 
I'm sadly on the same boat as many here... Ordered a S8 from Samsung.com on 4/13/2017 and have heard absolutely nothing from them except for a confirmation email after ordering.

Though it no longer says 'PREORDER' on my orders page, it just says 'CONFIRMED'. It also states a 2 day delivery service as well. They've charged my card, so why won't they ship it?

Was really hoping to get this by 4/20/2017 like advertised but I'm sure that really isn't the case.

If you bought from T-Mobile and your bank rejected the charge because of possible fraud, I would recommend cancelling that order and starting a new order.

My original order was placed 15 min. after going live but my CC declined the charge last week. I called T-Mobile after letting my bank know it wasn't a fraudulent charge so T-Mobile would try charging the card again but they never did as of yesterday.

I just made a new order yesterday and woke up to this photo. Looks like everyone else on the T-Mobile S8 preorder forum is getting their phones today, too!

My order from AT&T still shows getting ready to ship and I never got an email or notification that it was shipped I went to UPS and that's where I saw that it's out for delivery today weird but maybe that's your case too.

No worries, same thing happened again. No activity and then all of a sudden a little after midnight it it got the origin scan. It's in Seattle now and will be delivered today. It probably just has something to do with flight times to your destination when it finally gets scanned in. It kind of feels like Christmas morning :-)
