Only thing I have noticed so far is that the clock actually flips over, and cut / paste seem to be improved. Most of it is under the hood.

uh oh just got a random reboot. hope that doesn't happen again.

looks like two separate new cut and pastes. the GB "pincer" one. and HTC seems to have added a new one in People, Calendar, etc.

Sense Version

HTC Sense version is now 1.00.0005.60865. I believe before this update it was 1.0 but correct me if I am wrong.

9. QUICK timeout in text app when you are trying to input a name! TRY THIS!!!!!!!!!!! this is no good - list of names disappears quick! was this to be the "SMS bug" fix?

I am not having this problem, is it in messages? or some other app?

yup - Messages App. i started a thread for this. i guess i'll have to use a third party SMS app for now?

6. Sprint Nav is now TeleNav.

Can't remember how, but that's been the case for me for the past 4 months or so. Pretty sure it asked me to update some time ago upon opening the application. I've been using that more than 'Navigation' as it's been buggy as heck for me.

I can confirm the attachment bug in the HTC Mail app seems to have been fixed in the 4.22.651.1 update.

When setting up an Exchange Activesync account in the HTC Mail app (at least while using Gmail set as an Exchange Activesync account). I can download and view the attachment and there is no "Attachment is Corrupt" error. I am also able to foward an email with an attachment from my Inbox. However if I go into the Sent Mail folder and try to forward a previously sent email it does not send and I get the "Unable to Send Email" error.

The HTC Mail app is now at version 2.00.0037.60865. I'm not sure what the version was before the update though.

Also, the GPS icon is completely different, the icon is now the 'target' instead of the satellite icon. No biggie at all, just required a quick mental double take.

i think this new Sense included the flip clock animation and some cut and paste features in People, Calendar, etc. not much else as far as i can tell.

Will there ever be a gingerbread update for optimus v? Me and my wife just picked them up a moth ago and like the device with froyo. But we were wondering if this is capable of an update sometime later on? Thanks

Myself and others have reported Display usage at or above 80% of battery after GB update. GB Keyboard not included. Separate download in Android Market. Nexflix not working. Facebook for Sense not uploading pics but Facebook for Android does.

i like the minute to minute flip clock animation BUT i don't like the fact that it is an hour off after every phone unlock and needs to flip every time to correct. it's distracting. i'm on EST and after every unlock my clock has to flip from an hour behind to catch up. this did not happen before.

pretty sure that's just to show the pretty animation but i am with you on the distraction not being worth the animation.

eta: i mean to say that its an hour and 2 minutes behind to flip the hour once and the minutes twice and show off. pretty but annoying

Has anyone had problems with application icons being the generic Android icon for applcations that are on the CD card. I have tried the following to resolve this:

1) Remove the appication from the folder/page and replace it. The icon shows up, but after a restart returns to the generic.
2) Unmount and mount the card.
3) Power off, remove the SD card, replace and then power on. No change.

Odd that this just started after the GB update.
