I'm not falling for that... if I had waited I could have got the s3 in Garnet Red or lte, but no... stupid staggered release.

UK carrier locked have changed to "pending"
wonder if unlocked will be next???
does this mean that although my phone is unbranded, i wont get an OTA via my carrier (Three)?

think it was only today that uk carrier locked changed from "updating" to "pending"
hope i dont have to use Kies instead of OTA... that programme hates me
anyone know what the chances are of us losing data (apps, settings etc) during the update?

ive never had a major update OTA and this is my 1st sammy
...actualy ive only ever had one major official update (xperia arc from GB to ICS) the rest ive flashed myself and obv' had to back up..

yeah ive backed up my launcher and copied the backup to external sd. same with my Go Sms set-up and Widget Locker

I also came across this on Facebook... At least now we know that Samsung is doing their part to push update out through our greedy service providers.

Well...the "in the coming months" part of this is a bit of a downer. Samsung commits to rolling out Jelly Bean to US-based Galaxy S III devices in the 'coming months' -- Engadget
Not to mention the fact that the changelog indicates a number of features we got in the last ATT OTA. And no mention of any of the exciting new touchwiz features like smart rotation or the dual-apps thing.

samsung UK have confirmed JB for UK non-carrier locked s3s this month (october)
