Official Jelly Bean Update. Thoughts or complaints??

I'm not sure if this is just me but my battery life has gotten a lot worse lately. I have my phone stock not rooted on jb. I have the seidio extended battery and I use to get almost 2 full days worth with a lot of usage. I am sitting at only 10 1/2 hours of average to light use and my phones is at 35% might my battery be going bad?

Notice in the screenshot your on LTE-4g... Since this is recently something new to most and many still waiting could this be the change in your battery? LTE eats battery ;)

Really think having lte would cut my battery life more than half?

All depends on how much LTE your using... Yes LTE will suck your battery down quick..... Thats the downfall to having LTE active.... I had it going the other day for about an hour and dropped easily 20-25% on my battery doing my rounds here at Android Central via AC App & occasional Dolphin Browser usage...

Good way to find out would be to toggle off your CDMA/LTE to CDMA only for a day and repeat your normal daily activities as you were doing and see how battery life is.... I'm gonna say you end up much better at the end of the battery cycle for that day.

I think the battery is a little worse now since the JB upgrade. Not sure, might be me ;-)

It's better here on my end, and a spend my weekdays roaming and without a signal.

I think battery is better... Of course I'm running custom ROMs but I think the latest batch of custom ROMs (AOKP for instance) using the official binaries and goodies from the OTA update is yielding a better battery life.

For me on the stock ROM battery life is worse unfortunately. Google Now is the only reason I can think of, but I like it so I will keep it on. Bring on a Nexus with an S4 Pro chipset.

Well, I have a different phone (Motorola RAZR HD - XT925) running JB but I think is relevant to mention that I'm experiencing the same issues that were mentioned in this thread: yes, my phone is heating up and yes, I started losing phone signal frequently.
