I just got the OTA pushed to my Moto Droid and its been stuck on the "M" boot up screen for 30 minutes!

FYI to everyone waiting, I was prompted to download and install at ~6:30 pm est. Install went without a hitch. I'd suggest doing a " checkin". I got mine right after I did one.

Just received the update about 30 minutes ago. Some things different. Helix Launcher force closes when double tapping the Home button every time. I uninstalled the app, but curiously I cannot find it in the market now. Now looking for a good launcher replacement app. I'm not sure I like the default two icons and app drawer button after being used to customizable quick launch bar in Helix. There are many threads on home screen replacements but I am interested in compatibility with Froyo. any thoughts?

Got my update about 30 mins ago. Alabama 334 area code. Now to research the differences and what Froyo can do! 
I got the Froyo update at 9:30pm last night (8/19). So far it's running fine, and I'm using the stock launcher. I was using Launcher Pro with 2.1 but I don't know if I need it now that 2.2 comes with 5 homescreens and similar features. I can't justify more than 5 homescreens right now so I never used more than that on Launche Pro. Hmm, trying to decide which launcher to use, it's stock for now.
My last name starts with an S, but my mom got the update 3 hours before I did. The alphabetical thing does not exactly hold fast, because in the alphabet my name would come before my mom's
Flash has to be DLed, but once you do that, it works and runs flawless. I did the manual up date

I had dinner with a guy last night who said something was automatically updated on his Droid. He is not a power user, so I checked and his system was upgraded to 2.2.....he had no idea what I was talking about.

I got my OTA update Saturday AM. Went on without a hitch.
So far, kinda disappointed with Froyo. Phone doesnt seem any faster. Web browser is def NOT overall faster. That was the thing i was looking forward most to.
Revamped launcher is ok. Battery seems to be doing a little better even. Especially when GPS is working, so that's good.
Everything else so far seems minor and overall neither better or worse then what 2.1 was all about.
Maybe the Droid is a little too outdated to benefit from all the supposed under the hood improvements of Froyo.

What do you mean by Flash has to be DLed?
I believe he meant downloaded from the market. Or the APK file.
