Official update for Revue?

Finally got the update this morning in MN. Check and make sure your wifi is connected mine was apparently not connected and as soon as I forced it to connect from network settings and checked for it I was prompted to download

Kinda wishing that I knew nothing about pending update. I wouldn't be as bitter.

Ditto man, I got the email thursday afternoon and here we are sunday afternoon and i still have not gotten the update. I sent an email to Logitech about it and i have not heard back yet. Its making me bitter too.

I know Logitech doesnt give a damn about the revue because no one bought it at the ridiculous price of $300. thats not the consumers fault they got ripped off on the price of the parts when manufacturing the revue.. the functionality of the revue simply did not match the price at $300. correct me if Im wrong but didn't the Sony Bluray player w/ google tv cost the same, at least it had more functionality.

sorry guys I just had to vent my frustration towards Logitech. :mad:

I think its safe to say that in 2012 when more google tv products are launched I will probably pick up one of them and just give the revue to my folks (even though they will have no idea what it is or what it does or how to use it)

Update: after doing some web searches, "supposedly" all Revues should be updated by 1 am EST tonight

Try Settings>About>System Update, that's how I found out about my update. I never received the famous Logitech e-mail.

Doing a "Factory data reset" doesn't work, I tried it the first night the update came out.

Actually this is the first time I read of an actual deadline to the OTA update. Is this on any logitech link? Or has this been communicated only through e-mail?
 
just go to the logitech product support forums at Logitech.com. there are logitech reps doing what I think to be basic damage control in regards to this update.
 
It's real. Just woke up to get ready for work and my revue is updating instead of playing the morning news.
