My Note 3 was looking brand new as well after 11 months. I had to replace it a couple of weeks ago due to the reception issues. So, mine is basically brand new condition now. I will most likely get the Note 4, but was debating on getting a case. I probably will just for a little added protection. My Note 3 only had the Spigen slim case on it. No screen protector as I like the feel of the glass. However, I have never really dropped it. Mainly, it was for added grip so I wouldn't drop it.

Hopefully the Note 4 WILL be released earlier.
I also had the Spigen, but it didn't have a kick stand, so I went with the cheaper one that has a kickstand. Along with the temp glass, I keep the Note 3 in a wallet type case too. In affect, it is double case! I have dropped it about 5 times, just with the kickstand case, and not a scratch..

Tmobile just opened up pre orders, so something is kicking!! :)

I had heard that bestbuy stores will have demos of the note 4, possibly note edge and the vr headset starting on the 26th. That could just be a rumor, but that is what I am guessing he is referring to.

Can I also ask where you got the tempered glass screen protector. Everywhere I looked it says for pre-order only

I was talking in general...as far as I know, other release dates are the same.

Of course when i went to best buy, they had no idea when they will have them for pre order. Wish they could get there facts straight!

I seen where they added coming soon to the note 4 for sprint on bestbuy.com. Anytime soon for Verizon would be nice!!

A german site is telling that USA gets it earlier too, 7. October they claim.

They have no source however so take it with a grain of salt.

When clicking on pricing options for these the replacement device pricing(no contract pricing) is listed as 692 for the black verizon version and 750 for the white verizon version. So their system is messed up on the verizon ones still.
