So pissed. Was in a meeting that ended at 12 noon. Walked back to my desk to find that the 16GB was already sold out. Tried to buy the 8GB, and got an error as I was completing my order. If they ship me an 8GB, I'll be content, but I'm pretty soured on this whole deal.

Finally got the email. 30 minutes later. Says they wont charge the card till the order ships, yet my account has been debited. Hopefully this means that they will in fact ship out today.

I've got a pending charge on my card. I'd bet it will clear in the next few hours.

Because people are pounding their servers with scripts on multiple browser reloading every second. And we make fun of Apple fans standing in line. (c;

Apple's servers get hit at least 10x worse with their iPhone launches. Yet their servers keep up just fine. And in all honesty, how badly do you think Google Play's servers really got hit? I mean, very few people have even heard of this phone, let alone have interest. Keep in mind that we make up a very small portion of the consumer market. If they released this phone at Best Buy w/ a midnight launch, you would've seen maybe 5 people in line for this, next to the 300+ people in the Black Ops 2 line.

Not gloating, but US store is sold out of N4 16, 8 and the damn bumper now.
Don't fret, I missed the window on my N7, but it only took about a week. Totally worth it.

Omg, what an ordeal! I THINK I got mine (16GB). Not sure. They charged my card for the total but I didn't get any order confirmation email from Google...

BUT I logged into Google Wallet and see that there IS an order placed for it. Yay?

I knew Google would ninja-in like this. I even posted that they would go on sale at some random moment and they did.

Kinda pissed, not for me since it looks like I made it in, but for the poor people that are just now logging in to find it already sold out moments before!! Bad Google. Very poorly done!
