Usually chrome leaves most pages intact when I go offline. I open things up to read later.
Last week, it stopped doing that. Nearly every page would "close", or go gray and leave an "offline" message.

I thought maybe it was because I didn't have the newest chrome update, so I updated it. No change.
I've been running out of space on my 32gb device and it warned me about syncing issues. So deleted things, leaving nearly a gig free. Chrome worked better for a few days.

Then it started screwing up again. I made sure memory was free again, but it didn't change anything.

Never had this problem. What do I do? I want my offline browsing back.

Do you have the "Reduce Data Usage" feature on or off? If it's on, I wonder if it might help to turn it off.

Sorry for the late response. It doesn't have to do with the Android version--it's the Chrome version. Open Chrome, tap Menu>Settings, then look for the Reduce Data Usage setting.
