So I just successfully installed Liberty on my X, and I was in the process of reinstalling Titanium Backup, when my phone shut off entirely. I've pulled the battery, run it plugged in without the battery, held down power forever, and it sits dead with the green notification light on for as long as its hooked up to the charger. Any ideas?

When you pulled the battery did you also have the power plug unplugged, I know this is strange to ask but I have seen this happen. Try unplugging device and pulling battery and count to 10 and then place battery back into the device and see what happens, if still no luck try plugging into wall for about a hour and see if the battery discharged.

Attempting now!

It's back! I think it since it was low on battery already, the usb ports aren't really charging it since the laptop is unplugged. So it refused to boot. it did it again, I plugged it into the wall, and it booted just fine. I'm just gonna let it sit on the charger for awhile and all should be good. Thanks wildman!

No problem, also its been verified that charging on pc power isn't the best way because it doesn't supply enough power. Just something to note...

exactly correct....

computer usb ports can only output 500mA of charging current. wall charges (depends on brand, type, etc) are usually 1000 - 1200 mA.
