Maps always says I'm at home when using ok Google, (where am I?) when traveling in my vehicle on the highway. The dot shows the correct spot but announces I'm still at home All settings appear correct on my s21 Ultra. Is this a map issue or a phone gos issue?

Make sure power saving mode is disabled, If not it will mess up maps and Google, Location.

Also, ensure that Google Maps is set to, "Allow all the time", and "Precise location", in...

Settings > Apps > Maps > Permissions > Location

Still no change. Wondering if it's an issue with the phones gps.
Long press the google app then tap info>permission >is location permission on?
If so then try clearing data then force stop Google app this will reset Google assistant

Still the same. If you look on the map, it'll show the correct location with an accuracy low error. But when accessing the map by the above "hey google, where am I", it still shows my original starting location.

Try Uninstall the update to Google app see if it works on previous version, seems like Google assistant is the issue

Tried it, no change. Has anyone tried this while driving? It is supposed to tell you your current location correct?

When you ask "Where am I?", does it say "You're at home", or does it say "You're at [address]", citing the address that's your home?

If the former, you might try deleting your Google Maps definition of "home" and then re-creating it.
