Ok Google Not Responding

[Android Central Question]

Ok Google is not responding to either Ok Google or Hey Google. To my knowledge, all required checks are turned on to allow voice match and or assistant to respond but to no success.

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? Have you already tried re-doing your Voice Match?

Is it set to respond from any screen?

There have been a couple of questions directed to the OP -- it'd be helpful if you mentioned whether or not either of those suggestions helped.
