Ok Google not working from lockscreen

I disabled Bixby services since it was affecting the functioning of Google Assistant. Even after that, the "okay Google" keyword isn't working from lock screen. It's not that useful if I have to unlock the phone everytime I want to use it.

Any fix for this?

None that Ive seen. Alot of manufacturers are blocking "Ok Google" from working while the screen is off. Probably for security reasons.

Works on few other OEM phones as well, for example HTC U11 supports always on listening and you can say OK Google when screen is off, from lockscreen etc.

Yeah they block it, which is unfortunate. I use both it and Bixby. Don't like the way they're doing that.

I didn't know they blocked it from the lock screen. I thought it was a go. Now I'll know why moving forward. Thanks for the heads up.
