Ok Google not working on Huawei Nova

Its been a month now trying to make Ok Google work on my Huawei Nova without any luck . Keep getting " Can't use the microphone, please restart your device ".
I'll admit it's getting pretty frustrating.
Anyone the same issue? Anyone knows something that could help me ?

Yes :'( i just tried, still the same problem.

Try wiping the cache partition. Follow the steps here, but select Wipe Cache Partition instead of Factory Reset: Huawei Nova hard reset

Same here. Tried to uninstall reinstall Google app. Disabled mic authorization on Huawei Voice app. I think it's due to this app.

Yeah I think so too, the hivoice app probably blocks OK Google recognition , but can't uninstall it . Really hope an update will fix this but I doubt ...

Are you able to Disable the Huawei Voice app in Settings>Apps​?

No I can only manage permissions and force stop it.

Can you turn off its Microphone permission?

yes doesn't help either. but i got this response from Huawei customer service, it appears to be a software glitch.
guess ill have to wait for an update. thanks for the help !

I've got the same problem with my nova plus.

Same issue. Huawei nova plus. Fido Canada.. Google not able to ditecting mic when I try to setup using "train your phone". But it's working when I press the mic button on the app... Tried all the way, uninstall and re install the app, restarted my phone many times....

I have received an software update last night. And that has even updated with the " Google microphone not detecting". Issue . Update your phone.
