OK. Now that the TB is old news - when will the fixes come?

Well technically, aside from LTE it was already outdated when it went on sale. Its basically the Evo with an updated processor and more ram. Dont get me wrong I liked it but between the two the differences were pretty marginal aside from the 4G speeds. And if you look at the phones coming out over the next two months with the SGS2, Bionic, Evo 3D, etc.. well it is what it is. Not to say its not a good phone, just about 8 months behind the times.

If Verizon had just released it out of the blue instead of hyping, then delaying it wouldn't seem so outdated. But when CTIA hit and it still wasn't released, it makes it seem outdated. Evo3D comes out in June doesn't it? I'm looking forward to it! I get one for 3 months to play with through work.

Yep... im still debating on whether I want to get one. Right now I have my eye on the Bionic but there's nothing stopping me from getting both. I mean ive done it before lol

I can upgrade in December and if issues are taken care of then I may get the TB if not then probably will upgrade to the Incredible 2 I have the original and love it. There is plenty of time for me to make my decision. I love my current Incredible though so am happy. I am glad to have a device I love using and not have a hate relationship with.
My call quality and signal are perfect

Looks like it's gonna be a while before we see Bionic if indeed it actually is released. Sources a plenty saying it is Canceled (in it's current form at least) with development on Tegra accelerated to take it's place. I'm personally to the opinion that it is just delayed but if you are waiting on it it may be a LONG wait ...

Wow, another high-end Verizon Droid phone delayed - this is getting to be a habit.

Gingerbread changes will be mostly sub-surface. If changes are wanted in the GUI, then you're wanting a newer version of Sense UI.
Not having experienced an update, and the quote about an update to Sense UI ...

I read in a post somewhere that there is a later version of Sense out there on another phone ... when GB is pushed out, is it likely that a later version of Sense will come with it, or will HTC push out a Sense update separately? Does HTC even do Sense updates? I would think so, if only to account for changes in Android versions.

The only people who see it as delayed are tech geeks like us. The rest of the world have never heard of it and don't even know it is coming. It's also possible this whole mess is being blown out of proportion since about half the "insiders" are saying it is canceled/delayed and half say it is on track (for when they don't say). Supposedly it is battery life again and for one would rather wait another month or two and get a device that actually works well than deal with one that does not. I've been very pleased with battery life on Moto products of late (Droid Pro, Droid 2: Global, Moto Xoom) and would hate to see the run end. It cant be easy getting two new technologies (dual core in something as small as a phone and LTE radios) to work well and play nice together.

Sense has always been updated when the phone was updated but who knows. As to weather it would have it who knows, Thunderbolt didn't get it but that may just be because the design was finalized (it's been in testing for quite a while) before HTC finalized 2.1 or whatever the versioning is...

What is gingerbread going to add to the phone? To me it didn't seem like gingerbread is a big improvement over froyo. I'll be happy was Skype gets there video app to work so that i'll have a reason to use the front facing camera.

My Skype on my TB is working fine now, one day I just clicked on it and I was able to log on and video Skype worked fine. I don't know if there was an update because I didn't get a notification for an update but I do know it is working now.

I'm happy with this phone and haven't noticed any bugs. Wouldn't mind Skype and Netflix. Not a big deal though.

I agree 100 percent, but if only bennnnn were here like the old days! :)

Screw verizon updates. I am waiting for pure CM7 goodies. As long as they keep updating the radio firmware in CM7 I will be using that forever. I can't wait until it launches for thunderbolt.
