Here is a picture of the piece I broke...
Did you drop it? The area around it looks scratched/cracked also? Maybe its just the pic but I see some running lines behind the piece.
That has me concerned because if the charging port can break that easy, those are impossible to fix.

That is actually the Verizon logo reflecting off the shiny plastic part of the phone. I haven't dropped it and there are no scratches (yet). Honestly I do remember having a little trouble figuring out which way the usb went in, and in doing that I must have broken that piece.
i still think it's the karma police balancing out the world.
that does suck though, once the 29th rolls around you should exchange it or something.

Wow whenever i have ordered phones from vzw never had to use a code always did free overnight on its own thnx for he heads up

I got mine in the mail a few days ago and let me tell you, it really lives up to it's name. The screen looks better than the Droid and it's alot more responsive and the camera looks great.

Got My Incredible Yesterday!!
Hey gang!! I just received my MTC Droid Incredible yesterday and it's awesome!! I am a complete smartphone junkie. I currently own several Blackberry's the newest being the Storm 2. I also own a Palm Pre Plus & the Motorola Droid. The Storm 2 has been a solid phone for work, but overall the Incredible is the most fun!!! I find it to be a lot faster and more stable then the Motorola Droid. If you have the Droid and switch to the incredible you'll understand what I mean. I'm really amazed at the phones capabilities and I've only had it 24hrs.
I'm not sure how I got the phone this early. I have Business Account with Vzw. I went on line Monday to see if the Pre-Order option was available for the Incredible and of course it wasn't. The pre-order option has never been available on my Business account. Not online anyway. With that being said I figured I would call Vzw to see if I could pre-order over the phone. I mean really, I wanted this phone in my hands on the 29th. I talked to a Customer Service Rep. who helped me place the order. I was pretty excited at this point. She told me that it would ship Fed-Ex 2-Day. I asked her if that was 2-Days after the 29th & she said yes. I advised her that I would pay the $8.00 charge for overnight. That way I would get it on 30th. Just in time for the weekend. She went ahead & took care of that for me. Well, yesterday Fed-Ex shows up at my office. The guy comes strolling in with a Fed-Ex box. Well, I order a lot of phones from Verizon and I knew what was in that box. I could tell by the size. I thought it was a replacement phone for one of the other phones. I opened the box and don't you know it was the HTC Incredible. I was shocked. I couldn't figure out how I got the phone a week or so early. I was almost afraid to call & activate it. I thought they were going to tell me to send it back or something along those lines. The temptation got to be too much. I went ahead & activated the sucker & now I'm using my new Droid Incredible.
If any of you have a Business Account I would suggest trying this method. It'll probably work.
If there is anyone out there contemplating on getting this phone do yourself a favor & get it. You won't be disappointed.

Do you really have the Droid and the Incredible? That last statement you made is a bit confussing as the Droid does not have flash-lite.
Unless you meant FLASHLIGHT (MotoTorch).
