OK then. Who regularly clears cache on all their apps?

I go to recovery mode and clear the system cache when the phone (VZ bionic) get laggy. There is a point when that doesn't help and I have to do a full wipe/recovery/hassle. Can't seem to successfully root the phone so I can't wipe the dalvik cache. I switched from a VZ Pre2 because the 3G at work is **** poor (500kbs). Bought the cheap Bionic so I could get 4G (6mbs at work) and not lose my unlimited plan. Damn, I miss webOS.

On most newer phone with 4.2 and above user need not worry abt memory mgmt. Android is pretty good at it.

EDIT: Ya sorry. I did understand that one pretty much, though not familiar with the phones. Must have been thinking of a different post I read yesterday. Hard to keep track of everything. :)

That's way over MY head, but it will be useful to fellow developers no doubt.

I hope you can help each other.

I personally am a bog standard device user trying to learn.

I regularly clear out my cache portion of my device. All apps and cache data cleared. Saves space and keeps the performance top notch.
