This evo grew on me like you wouldn't believe! I'm going to be keeping this as a secondary to my epic/ WiFi only device for now though I'd like to know what everyone used in their setup. Any specific apps? Cases/screen protectors? Roms/kernels? Aside from the screen, this phone is the most solid thing with Android I've touched, would definitely like to get the most out of it!

I love the Evo so don't get me wrong but it sounds like you're really looking for a tablet?

Anyway, here goes. I have around 90 apps installed, this is really personal preference but I love trying things that anyone suggest or pick up an app if it goes on sale and I've been interested in it. The market makes it easy because you have 24 hours to return it and get a refund. (personal note I like buying apps to help support this platform).

I'm using the otterbox commuter case, which I love over the seidio or amzer cases. I'm using the boxwave screen protector but the otterbox one was nice so was actually the seidio screen protector (clear, not anti glare).

I'm running CM6 stable with Snap 7.6BFS w/turbo on, it's very fast, over 34+ MFLOPS in linpack and my quadrant score was a touch over 2200.
