You can bet that if there is a discontinuation of the N7, Sammy won't risk any more bad headlines and send out an update and disable all units.
I decided on the S7 Edge and I am sending this message from it as I type
Like what...the fires did happen? The phone is a lemon, get over it and move on to the next.
Same thoughts I had on the V20. Now I can't decide......V20 with horrible battery life or iPHone 7 plus....
i am keeping mine, only way i will let it go is if they disable it somehow.
I just love when people say Samsung or the carriers will disable the units. I mean not everyone returned their original Note 7. I have a co-worker that still has hers because guess what? Target still didn't have replacement units up until Wednesday of this week in my neck of the woods. She is still charging up to 100% with fast charge on top of it. I have advised her not to do so and told her to return her phone as she has an old Note 3, she is not a techie and doesn't follow boards but I tell her whatever I know. She is still receiving updates and all. She has ATT. She didn't even know there might be a second recall. Give me a break....by now if they were going to send out disabling updates they would have. I believe some people just love the drama effect of saying certain things.
I have Z Force. The hottest I've seen is 109°. That was using the Motorola charger which is 30 Watts. Unplugged and it dropped rapidly. This is 2nd time in 2 days for me that mines gotten up to 105° earlier it was 108° while charging so I turned it off.I'm starting to get concerned and I'm wondering at what point is too hot when things start catching on fire?//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161009/40122cb701be551ee17d4b701d02d1fb.jpg

I wanted black, but the store on lyrics had silver and gold in Stock, so I went with silver. Got the $10 Samsung pay reward again, the $5 dunkin donut reward, and was able to request the free 256 gb memory cardWhat color did you get? I had the S7E as a loner in silver and didn't dig that color. Had it been black, I probably would have stuck with it. The battery is good plus it has SD card support.
Thats one reason why I do not want the s7 edge.. too expensive $795 on AT&T for a phone thats over 6 months old already. I really want to get the iPhone 7 plus but none in stock probably until late november or early december.
I would trade my Note 7 for a third one, but I don't think the carriers will play along again.Drama effect? Are you kidding? Samsung has almost reached the threshold where the replacement units are in the same position as the original units. It is actual drama, not perceived. If there are any more replacement units defective, there are only 2 choices-second recall or discontinue the N7. If the latter is done, you can guarantee there will be a worldwide disabling.
How many people are realistically going to stick it out with a second recall?
6 months is old now? I know tech moves fast but jeez lol
