old youtube version with bar code scanner

Hi .
Does any one know an old version of youtube that had bar code scanner that enables me to add TV. This option (bar code scanner) is not available in the current version.

My understanding is that the ability to connect to older smart TVs in that way is no longer possible after YouTube got rid of v2 of the YouTube Data API: https://youtube-eng.googleblog.com/2014/03/committing-to-youtube-data-api-v3_4.html. APIs are on the OS side, not the app side, so installing an older YouTube app version wouldn't bring back that functionality. Sorry!
